Description
This PhotoFrame 4 preset requires that you download theĀ Sand Texture previously posted here on the Exchange. The preset adds a layer mask automatically. Consider masking out areas on the added layer mask to best compliment your photo.

Am I missing something? Is there supposed to be a download button?
Hi Jeff – you’re not missing something. I did. Sorry. I forgot to add the download button to the single post, but have just corrected the problem. Thanks.
Whew! Thought I was losin’ it!
Hmmm, button isn’t working for me.
Looks like I’m the one losing it. I’ve updated the button to actually link to the file.
OK, i know its me. I downloaded the preset, stuck in the correct folder. also download the sand texture and imported that frame. But when using this preset I get a file not found.
help when you can please
Hi Tom – it wasn’t you at all. It was me. Not sure what I did wrong, but I had Dan Harlacher help me out and I think it works now. Try downloading from the site here again.
Be sure to have added the Sand Overlay texture file first. Also if you place the preset in the necessary folder while PhotoFrame is open, close PhotoFrame and then re-open it again.
Best,
Mike
I downloaded the texture and placed the preset correctly. I just don’t know what I’m suppose to do with the texture file? I get a file “.” not found when I try to apply the photoframe. Do I need to do something with the texture first, like create a layer and place it or have the texture in a specific folder, etc.? Need basic help.
Steven – you’ll need to make sure that you import the texture as well into PhotoFrame. Follow these steps:
1. Launch Photoshop & open an image.
2. Launch PhotoFrame from within Photoshop.
3. Go to the File menu and choose Import Frame…
4. Locate the texture you downloaded and you should be good from there.
Best,
Mike
Do these work with Photoframe 4.5?
@Craig – yes, they will.
