Description
I created this preset for PhotoFrame 4 Professional Edition specifically to fit an image that is 600×400 pixels (or 400×600 pixels). However, it should work fine on images of any size. I made this preset so I can quickly add the same frame to the images that I’m posting to the onOne blog and using this preset saves me a bunch of time to resize the frame, resize the photo and add a subtle drop shadow as well.
The frame used here is from the PhotoFrame 4 Professional Edition and can be found under the Guru category. It is from the Vincent Versace collection. I reduced the size of the frame by 5 percent and the size of the image by 10 percent so it fits nicely within the frame. I then added a soft drop shadow to the frame and set the offset to be directly under the frame (0 horizontal and 0 vertical offset) so it adds the appearance of floating on the web page. Further, I set the background color of the frame to be transparent.
Be sure to save your image as a PNG after you apply the frame so you maintain the transparency so it looks correct on any color background that you may use it on.
