Description
If you are a fan of the washed out look, you will want to download this preset.

Nice effect, thank you
I always had trouble downloading your software…. but I am very happy that I
learned to use presets!!! My pictures have a very professional look.
It’s fun to go to the site and be amazed again.
Sincerely,
Nicholas
I love the effect! How do I add this to my existing presets?
@Paige – after you download the preset, from within PhotoTools, go to the File menu and choose Import Preset.
Best,
Mike
Dear Mr. Davenport,
Dear Photo Tool Community,
I like the look and feel of your jonnywash preset. It looks great. Therefore I downloaded the free preset and imported it via the description of “mwong” into the Photo Tools 2.5 Professional Edition, but I always had problems using it. It doesn’t works… and I don’t know why.
I always got the same error message.
“The preset you have added to the stack contains a Paint-In effect.
You will want to select that effect in the stack, then select the brush tool, and then paint in the effect. Once you are done painting select the effect at the top of the stack to see the result.”
I followed the hint but nothing happened. Could anyone help me?
Thanks for your time and effort.
Best, Friedrich
@Friedrich – By default the effect won’t show up. Make sure that you select the brush tool and then make sure that the settings are set to Paint In. Then paint with the brush over the image where you want the effect to appear.
Best,
Mike
hi the same here like friedrich. there is NO Layer to paint in! I see the spinning Weel and after a wile the same massage, but no layer is added im the stack.
The effect that is meant to be painted in is the Dark Darkener in the Stack.
You need to select this effect from the stack and then pain over the areas you want darker.
If you are on the Add Border or Super Sharpener effect in the stack, this paint in effect will not work correctly.
Hi! I am using photo tools 2.5 and I am told this plug in does not work with this version. But it looks great!! I want it. Any thoughts?
@JimCat – are you using the Professional Edition of PhotoTools?
