What app do I open it with, Cs4 doesn’t want to know, neither does one-on-one suite, pro tools!
    Please advice!

@Ken Scales – after downloading the preset, unzip it. Then from within PhotoTools 2.5, go to the File menu and choose Import Preset… locate the preset and click ok or open. It should then show up under the Presets category.

  3. Looks great! Can’t wait to try it out. Thanks!

  5. I sure will! Thanks!

How do I import this to Elements 8 and/or Essentials 3? Thanks

  7. mwong says:

@Lorill – the PhotoTools presets don’t work in Photoshop Elements or Essentials 3. They only work with PhotoTools and Photoshop.

How do I install this preset?

Description

This High-Pass Contrast Mask preset was inspired from talking to a PhotoTools 2.5 Professional Edition user at the Imaging USA expo. He wanted a “contrasty” look that he could apply to his photos that gave somewhat of a HDR, semi-grungy look. I put these two effects together and he loved it. I thought I would offer it up here as well. Be sure to adjust the settings of the two effects to your liking.
