Installation Troubleshooting

> How do I unzip a file?

Usually you can simply double-click on it. On a Mac it will unzip and appear as a folder next to the zip file wherever you downloaded it (usually the downloads folder). On Windows systems it will present you with a wizard that helps you unzip the files.

> I added a preset, but I can’t find it inside my onOne product.

First, try canceling and relaunching your product. Then make sure you are looking in the right spot. If you still can’t find your preset try importing it again. If that still fails contact technical support.

> When I try to use a preset it says that an effect or frame is missing.

The preset may have been made with a newer version of an onOne product than you have. The newer version may have new effects or frames that you don’t have. Check for an update or upgrade. This may also occur if the preset is created with the Professional Edition of a product and you only have the Standard Edition.

> I’ve added a frame but now I can’t find it.

Try canceling and relaunching your product. Then make sure you are looking in the right spot. There are several ways to locate a frame.

First, you can search for them by name in the search field. This is the fastest and most reliable way. If you can’t find a frame here, it may have not imported correctly.

Second you can browse them by category. If a frame fits in an existing category you will find it there. For example 4th of July frames will appear in the Layouts > Events > 4th of July category. It may take a little practice to learn the category structure and where frames live.

If a frame does not fit in an existing category it will be placed in the User category at the bottom of the category list. Keep in mind that if you are not using the most recent version of PhotoFrame, this is the place to look for your frames you can’t find. Try upgrading to the latest version of PhotoFrame and reimporting your frames to have them sort into categories properly.

If you still can’t find the frames try importing them again. Its a good idea to note the number of frames in your library before you start adding new frames so you can compare after you import new frames. If the importing is failing you may have the incorrect permissions on your PhotoFrame database. Check-out this Knowledge Base article on how to fix it.
